Become a Trainee Detective
The adventure begins when Detective Dapper discovers that all the shiny things in the village have mysteriously disappeared. With the help of his cheeky sidekick, Squeak the Mouse, children are invited to join the case. Squeak has been up to mischief and chewed the village map into pieces – so the first task is to put it back together!
Next, every child becomes a trainee detective with their very own magnifying glass and fingerprint dusting cloth. They’ll join in with a lively song and dance before heading out on a clue trail around the role play village. Using their detective kits, little ones can search for hidden clues, investigate, and piece together the mystery.
Solving the Case & Celebrating Success
The fun doesn’t stop once the case is cracked. After solving the mystery, children work as a team to return the missing shiny things to the villagers. Together, they help bring happiness back to Discovery Village – all while building confidence, teamwork, and imaginative play.
To celebrate their detective skills, children are treated to a reading of Detective Dapper’s favourite story. As a keepsake, every child receives a special sticker to take home – a reminder of their important role in saving the day.
