A Blooming New Adventure Arrives at Discovery Village
On 23rd February, a brand-new interactive story blossoms at Discovery Village. Sunny Petal’s Bee-utiful Garden and we cannot wait to welcome our little gardeners!
Join our cheerful village gardener, Sunny Petal, as they bring the magic of spring to life in a joyful, hands-on experience filled with teamwork, music and mini-beasts. Every great garden begins with a tiny seed, and during this immersive session children will discover exactly what plants need to grow. From sunshine and water to the incredible creatures who quietly help behind the scenes.
With plenty of laughter (and a few very good gardening puns), Sunny introduces children to the true heroes of our gardens, especially the humble honeybee. As the bees wake from their winter rest, they need help gathering pollen and nectar to refuel their hive. Armed with their very own “buzz bags”, children will collect hive fuel, work together to feed the glowing bee hive, and see first-hand how their teamwork helps nature thrive.
It’s educational, energetic and full of springtime sparkle.

Music, Mini-Beasts & The Buzzing Bug Boogie
Sunny Petal knows that gardens don’t just grow with soil and sunshine, they grow with song!
In the second part of our story, children will meet even more helpful garden creatures and learn how ecosystems work in a simple, engaging way. Through our lively “Bug Boogie” dance, little ones will wiggle like worms, flap like butterflies, march like millipedes and buzz like busy bees.
As the music plays, something magical happens, the flowers begin to grow before their very eyes! This high-energy section encourages movement, imagination and confidence, all while reinforcing the importance of working together in nature.
Expect giggles, big dance moves and plenty of garden cheer.

A Hands-On Bug Hunt & A Beautiful Blooming Finish
Our final chapter invites children to become true budding gardeners. With their very own bug-nifying glasses, they’ll explore the village on a guided bug hunt, searching for worms, ladybirds, butterflies, honeybees and even a few mischievous plant pests.
Along the way, they’ll learn fascinating facts about how insects help (or sometimes hinder!) our flowers. Once all the helpful bugs are found, there’s just one final ingredient needed… water! Together, we’ll give our baskets a drink and watch in delight as the flowers grow tall above the village.
Sunny Petal’s Bee-utiful Garden is a joyful celebration of teamwork, nature and springtime wonder and it all begins on 23rd February.
