Our latest role play adventure, Inky Doodle’s School Summer Fair, invites children into a colourful, immersive story led by our quirky art teacher, Inky. With the big day fast approaching, there is so much to organise and not everything goes to plan. The journey begins with children working together to paint the village’s Summer Fair banner. This moment sets the tone for the entire experience, encouraging teamwork, creativity, and the idea that when we collaborate, we can create something truly special. It is a hands-on, joyful introduction that brings children together from the very start.
Solving Problems Through Kindness and Creativity
As the story unfolds, unexpected challenges arise. The much-anticipated Jingle Jangle Dancers cannot make it, but the fun does not stop there. Children step in to save the day, each receiving bells and ribbons to create their own magical performance on the village green under sparkling disco lights.
The adventure continues as they set off to find missing tombola tickets hidden around the village. Along the way, they learn valuable lessons about charity, community, and generosity. This part of our latest role play adventure highlights that giving can be just as rewarding as receiving, showing children how small acts like sharing toys or food can make a big difference to others.
A Joyful Finale and Community Celebration
The excitement builds towards a playful finale when the ducks refuse to join the duck race. Once again, the children come to the rescue by becoming ducks themselves, exploring colours and developing movement skills in a fun and engaging way. This final activity captures the spirit of the story, where imagination and teamwork solve every problem.
As a celebration of community, each visiting family can nominate a local project for a chance to win a free visit to Discovery Village this June. This two-hour immersive experience, guided by a live actor, brings families together through laughter, creativity, and meaningful lessons that stay with children long after the adventure ends.
