Join us for one of our exciting after school play sessions full of song, dance and imaginative play. Tailored to children aged between 4-8 years, our after school club gives your child the opportunity to unwind after the school day whilst still learning through the power of imagination. Live performers lead our story of the day for those children who wish to take part, for others that just want to explore Discovery Village that is ok too.

Each of our 9 role play areas are full of props, toys and costumes designed to intrigue and inspire. Watch as your child becomes a fire officer helping their community, or a performer live on stage at the Grand Theatre. Poorly Paws, our role play vet gives our after school visitors the chance to look after the villagers animals where our Beauty salon ensures that they’ll get all the pampering they deserve.

After school club opening times and prices

Our after school club play sessions start at 3:30pm and finish at 6pm. With the first 30 minutes dedicated to free play, visitors from across Dorset can visit without missing out on our story of the day. Our live performers will join in the fun and excitement after 4pm.

Remember we know that not every child wants to be involved in the activities led by our performers; some are far to busy playing. Everyone is welcome to enjoy Discovery Village in their own special way.
