Set in our beautifully designed mini village, this engaging experience is the perfect alternative to traditional soft play, especially for younger children who thrive in calm, imaginative environments.
After a big storm has swept through the village, Captain Recycle needs help clearing up — and your little ones are just the superheroes for the job! Children pop on their high-vis hero vests and join the clean-up mission by collecting recycling from all the village role play shops. As they explore each area, they’ll follow a fun and educational jumble trail, learning how old, unwanted items can be reused and repurposed to avoid landfill.
Recycling Adventures with Captain Recycle
Our story doesn’t stop at collection — the children then help build Discovery Village’s very own Recycling Centre! Here they’ll sort paper, tins, and plastics, learning real-world recycling skills through hands-on imaginative play. It’s a playful yet powerful way to help children understand how their actions can make a difference.
After the recycling mission, everyone gathers for a calming story time with Captain Recycle, where children learn about protecting our oceans from rubbish and how they can help keep our planet clean. We finish every session with our cheerful Goodbye Song, complete with bubbles, and each child receives a special eco-hero sticker to celebrate their achievements.
