How to book a school trip or nursery visit
At Discovery Village, we make planning your school trip or nursery outing easy and hassle-free! Our flexible group packages cater to all group sizes, from smaller visits during our regular play sessions to exclusive hire for a fully private experience.
We invite you to visit us in advance to explore our immersive role play centre and discuss any questions you may have. On the day of your visit, our friendly team takes care of everything—so you can focus on enjoying the experience with your children while we handle the details.
What to expect during your educational visit
Every visit begins with a warm welcome from our friendly team. Shoes off, and straight into action! The session starts with free play, allowing children to explore and settle into their surroundings before our live performer arrives to bring the story of the term to life. Whether they’re fully immersed in the adventure or busy exploring, every child experiences the village in their own way. There’s no right or wrong way to play!
Once our live actor appears, it’s time for an interactive storytelling adventure that encourages teamwork, problem-solving, and creativity. With a mix of guided activities and free play, even the most reserved children can join in at their own pace. Our performer remains in the village throughout the session, ensuring every child feels included and engaged.
As the session comes to an end, children gather for a final storytime, followed by our fun tidy-up song and farewell dance, ending their experience on a high note.
