A Dazzling Start to Our Christmas Play Sessions with Santa
Our Christmas Play sessions with Santa at Discovery Village have officially begun, and we are thrilled to share that they’re off to a truly magical start! Families from across Bournemouth have joined us for festive fun, immersive storytelling, and one unforgettable visit with Father Christmas himself. Designed especially for small children in Bournemouth looking for an enchanting Santa experience, these sessions are already filling up fast, with only a few spaces still available.
This year’s story begins with a festive twist: Santa is out training his reindeer for the big night when he realises something is terribly wrong. He can’t find Discovery Village! The magical Aurora Beacon, which normally shines brightly to guide him, has lost its sparkle. Thanks to a mischievous Snow Sprite named Sparkle, who accidentally misplaced the glowing Christmas crystals, Santa needs the children’s help more than ever.
A Magical Mission Through Discovery Village
Little adventurers join Sparkle on a heart-warming mission to recover the three lost Christmas crystals, using the true powers of Christmas: teamwork, kindness, love and happiness.
Along the way, children delight in festive activities perfect for little ones, including:

✨ Singing “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer”
✨ Solving a sparkling Christmas present puzzle

Santa Arrives in a Sparkling Finale
Once the Aurora Beacon is restored and glowing brightly, its shimmering light guides Santa and his sleigh safely to Discovery Village. Children then enjoy 45 enchanted minutes with Santa, where he reads their letters, greets each child personally, shares a festive story, poses for magical photos, and leads his joyful Glitter Ball dance party.
As Santa waves goodbye until Christmas Eve, families leave with warm hearts, smiling faces, and memories that twinkle brighter than fairy lights.
