We celebrated our daughter’s 4th birthday at Discovery Village, and it was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Everything was so well organised, which made the whole experience completely stress-free. The food provided was healthy, fresh, and really inviting for the children. The staff were fantastic throughout. Every member of the team was so friendly, welcoming, and couldn’t do enough to help. They made us all feel so well looked after and ensured everything ran smoothly. The venue itself is clean, well maintained, and a wonderful place for children to explore and play. I would highly recommend Discovery Village for a children’s party. Thank you to the whole team for making our daughter’s birthday so special, we all had the best time!Posted on Google Deborah RooneyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Great place to take little ones, especially on a rainy day. It's fully air conditioned so a great respite when it's hot too. Lots of fun scenarios for the children, led by an actor, with themes changed on a regular basis. Suitable for a wide range of children and babies. Good little cafe and lots of clean toilets and changing facilities. Plenty of free parking.Posted on Google Amiee MillsTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We absolutely love Discovery Village! It's become one of our favourite places to visit when we're in the area and we genuinely look forward to every trip. The role play areas are beautifully designed, with so much attention to detail. You can tell a lot of thought and care has gone into creating each space, and it really encourages imaginative play. Our child is always completely immersed, and every visit brings something new to explore. The performers are also amazing and make such a difference to the experience. Their interactions with the children are so much fun and keep everyone engaged, which also gives parents a chance to actually sit down, enjoy a decent coffee, and relax for a while – something that's pretty rare at children's venues! The food is another highlight. It's always fresh and offers much healthier options than you usually find at soft play centres or similar places, which we really appreciate. We also love that the themes change regularly, so every visit feels fresh and exciting rather than repetitive. There's always something new to spark little imaginations. We honestly can't recommend Discovery Village enough. It's such a thoughtfully created space that gets everything right for both children and parents, and we already can't wait for our next visit!Posted on Google E SharpTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We booked Discovery Village for my daughter’s 3rd birthday party, and had an absolutely fabulous time. Lots of her friends were new to the venue, and thought the set-up was awesome, and quite unique, with having an entertainer lead the play session too. As parents, it was a perfect, no-stress party, with everything taken care of for us. Would highly recommend!Posted on Google Ilanga VaikundamoorthyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We recently celebrated my niece’s birthday at Discovery Village Bournemouth on Saturday 27th June with the Mini Party Package, and it was absolutely fantastic from start to finish! Our party host was incredible – so friendly, attentive, and genuinely went above and beyond to make sure everything ran perfectly. Nothing was too much trouble, and every request we had was met with a smile. She made the whole experience completely stress-free for us. The food provided was plentiful, with more than enough for all of the children attending. We were also so grateful that they provided takeaway boxes, allowing parents to take home slices of birthday cake and any leftover food rather than letting it go to waste – such a thoughtful touch. We also loved being able to open a tab at the café for food and drinks, with voucher cards provided for our guests to use. It made everything so easy and convenient. The staff even cut up our birthday cake and brought it out in batches so everyone could enjoy it without us having to lift a finger. The entertainer was absolutely brilliant! They kept the children engaged from beginning to end and even got the parents involved, which made the whole party so much more fun. My niece and all of her friends had an amazing time and haven’t stopped talking about it since. Overall, Discovery Village Bournemouth completely exceeded our expectations in every way. The organisation, customer service, entertainment, and attention to detail were outstanding. I would 100% recommend booking your child’s party here – you won’t be disappointed!Posted on Google Louise BirchallTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I recently visited Discovery Village and then booked a joint party there for my daughter and her friend. The party was so easy, definitely the easiest I have done! Debbie was fantastic, and I was able to just sit back, enjoy watching the kids play and take in the memories rather than be doing things! Debbie and her team had everything covered. The entertainer was exceptional, food amazing (even catering for difficult allergies), and the children had the best time. Could not fault it. If you are looking for a fuss free, awesome birthday party - this is the one! Great space to take children they have a theme and an actor that helps lead the play but if your child wants to go off and play they can.Posted on Google LaurenTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Wow! Genuinely amazing experience and so worth the money. I was worried our 14 month old wouldn't be able to access the centre but she loved it! Way bigger than it looks on the photos and so much fun 😊Posted on Google Ellen JTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We absolutely loved Discovery Village during our holiday in Christchurch! We visited three times during our five-day stay because my daughter, who is just shy of two years old, had such an amazing time. The immersive role-play sessions with the entertainer were fantastic and really brought the whole experience to life. The enthusiasm, interaction, and imagination encouraged all the children to join in, making it so much more than just a play café. The role-play village itself is beautifully set up with so many different areas to explore, and my daughter was happily entertained for hours. The air conditioning was an absolute godsend during this week's heatwave, making it the perfect place to escape the heat while the little ones played comfortably. The café was clean, welcoming, and the staff were all lovely. We genuinely looked forward to each visit and can't recommend Discovery Village enough for anyone with young children. It was one of the highlights of our holiday, and we'll definitely be back next time we're in Christchurch!
